Short version: we don't collect much.
This site is built so that you can read it, watch the live demo, and ask for a quote without us tracking you. Below is the long version of what we do and don't do, in the order an Australian Privacy Principles assessment would ask about.
What we collect
If you fill in our contact form, we collect the fields you provide: name, company, email, what you want to monitor, and your message. That information is sent to daniel.hall@kgsolutions.com and is not stored on this site.
We do not run any analytics or session-recording on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no cookies set by us beyond the ones strictly necessary for the page to work. Your visit is not logged in a database we can later query.
What we do not collect
We do not buy, rent, or scrape contact lists. We do not enrich your contact form submission with third-party data. We do not share your information with any party other than the email service used to deliver your enquiry to us.
Where data goes
Contact form submissions transit through Resend (resend.com) on their way to our inbox. Resend retains delivery metadata for the period required to operate their service. We do not export or syndicate enquiries beyond replying to them.
The site itself is hosted on Vercel. Vercel collects standard web request logs (IP, user-agent, URL) for the period described in their data processing terms. We do not access these logs in the normal course of operating the site.
The live demo data
The live readings on the homepage and the live dashboard come from a real InfraSensing SensorGateway in our office, polled server-side every 30 seconds. The unit is never exposed to your browser. The fields you see are whitelisted; serial numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses, and any other identifying information are stripped before publication.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what personal information we hold about you (almost certainly: nothing beyond the contact form submission you sent us, if any), correct it, or have it deleted. Email daniel.hall@kgsolutions.com with the request and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how the site collects information we will update this page and the "last updated" date below. Our intent is to keep this short, plain-English, and accurate.
